Bio
Douglas plays, teaches, writes, and arranges music. Originally from Conway, AR, Douglas attended Florida College in Temple Terrace, FL for four years where he got his bachelor of arts in Music.
Douglas has always been a musical explorer, participating in as many kinds of music performance as he could. From piano recitals to jazz combos, community theater to country bands, he loves to learn about music from as many angles as possible. He maintained this attitude through college, where he played and sang in several school ensembles, arranged music for some of those ensembles, and taught private lessons and small groups.
After graduating in the spring of 2024, Douglas continues to live in the Tampa area where he is a professional musician. He has played with several local superstars, including Dominic Walker, Paul Gavin, and Hot Tonic. In addition to performing and arranging music, he teaches private lessons and collaborates with schools to further music education in the area.
